The Trinity Lutheran Church Child Development Center, on site at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lynnwood, provides full day childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, year round, 6:30 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. This includes a nutritious, child-friendly menu for breakfast, lunch, and snack at no extra charge.
School age care is provided from 2:30 - 6:30 PM on scheduled school days and 7 AM - 6 PM on school breaks and in the summer. A sack lunch must be provided; snacks are provided at no extra charge.
Children participate in developmentally appropriate activities.
For infants age 6 weeks to 1 year, we offer a safe, warm, and loving environment with an experience staff. We have very low staff turnover and provide monthly nurse visits to help chart developmental milestones.
For toddlers age 1 to 2 ½ years, we offer an active curriculum for active learners in music and art exploration, stories, movement activities to encourage muscle development, and language development supported with books, words, and in song.
For preschool ages 2 ½ to 3 years, we offer social skills development, Christian education, pre-reading and pre-writing skill building developed through play, world languages, and music enrichment.
For pre-kindergarten ages 4 to 6 years, we focus on kindergarten readiness in the following skill-sets: social skills, listening, following directions, beginning reading and writing, Christian education, world languages, and music enrichment.
For after school care grades K to 6, we offer kids a safe place from 2:30 - 6:30 PM on scheduled school days and 7 AM - 6 PM on non-school district days. We have a secure environment with a mix of free choice and organized activities. Homework help is also available.
Camp Trinity
During the summer of 2010, we offer full day summer fun for grades K-6, June 21rd through August 27th, 7 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, with:
- Arts and crafts
- Science
- Dramatic play
- Sensory play
- Legos and Blocks
- Outdoor Sports
- Picnics and Barbecue
Field Trips
We average two away field trips each week in addition to our in-house activities. Our experienced staff and small group size help to ensure a safe environment to play and learn. Our flexible registration allows your child to attend part time or full time to meet the needs of your family. Children bring a sack lunch daily and we provide two snacks each day.
