Supporting a Variety of Christian Missions and Collegiate Education
The Endowment Fund and Foundation Fund within the Trinity and Pointe of Grace endowment program provide donors with the opportunity to support either a specific mission or a broad range of mission and collegiate endeavors. Both funds receive assets from donations, testamentary gifts, memorials, bequests, or other sources.
The Foundation Fund receives donations from individuals and annual income from the Endowment Fund investments. Monies in the Foundation Fund are distributed annually in the form of grants for Christian ministries, Christian education, emergency response, donor directed uses, and scholarships or loans for collegiate education.
The Endowment Fund invests donations in accordance with the Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act (UPMIFA), as adopted by Washington State. Investments are diversified for the purpose of providing annual income to the Foundation Fund and a reasonable growth for Endowment Fund assets.
2010 was the 20th Anniversary of the establishment of Trinity's Endowment Fund!
Since its establishment, more than $250,000 has been given away and more than 120 people and organizations have benefited. Previous Endowment Foundation gifts have been used for Mustard Seed and Neighbors in Need grants, the purchase of Pointe of Grace in Mukilteo, and student Christian education scholarships.
